FieldEdge Pricing: What Contractors Should Verify in 2026
There is no published FieldEdge pricing per month figure to quote back to you — FieldEdge is quote-led. This page sets out what drives the quote, which reported numbers are circulating and why we will not repeat them as fact, and exactly what to ask before you sign.
Published by Opsler, a FieldEdge competitor. Checked 3 August 2026. We do not publish dollar figures for other vendors that we cannot verify.
Quick Answer: FieldEdge Does Not Publish Prices
We checked FieldEdge’s own pricing page on 3 August 2026. It presents three plans — Select, Premier and Elite — with a full feature comparison, but no dollar figures against any tier. The page states that “pricing can vary” because plans are customised with add-ons, and directs you to book a demo or call to get a number.
FieldEdge also does not run a free trial. Its own FAQ says: “FieldEdge does not offer a free trial because we find new members have the most success when our team walks you through the onboarding process.” So there is no self-serve way to see the fieldedge cost of running your business on it before a sales conversation.
Any specific figure you find on a third-party blog is Reported, not Official — and much of it is recycled between sites without a check date. Treat it as unverified until FieldEdge puts it in writing for you.
How to read the labels on this page
Stated by the vendor on their own site.
From review platforms or user communities — indicative only.
Previously published; may no longer be current.
No public price; the vendor quotes per customer.
External vendor details checked 3 August 2026. Pricing and packaging in this category change frequently — confirm current terms on the vendor’s own pricing page before you commit. Figures labelled Official were read directly from the vendor’s own pricing page on the date shown. Where a vendor is quote-led, this says so rather than repeating a number from a third-party blog.
What FieldEdge Publishes Officially
Checked directly at fieldedge.com/pricing on 3 August 2026. This is everything the vendor confirms in writing on its own site — nothing more.
Select
Entry tier in FieldEdge's own three-plan structure. Full feature list published; no price.
Premier
Marked “Most Popular” on FieldEdge's own site. Sits between Select and Elite; no price.
Elite
Top tier in the published comparison. Broadest feature set shown; no price.
FieldEdge’s own words: “Our three plans allow you to customize the software and add-ons based on the specific features you need, so pricing can vary!” Its FAQ adds that FieldEdge pricing “can vary based on several factors, such as how many technicians or employees are on your team, and which add-ons you might need.” That is the entire official fieldedge pricing position — a structure and a set of variables, not a rate card.
Which Costs Require a Sales Quote
These are the variables that typically shape a quote-led field service deal. Ask about each explicitly rather than waiting for them to appear on the contract.
Seat count and seat types
Office and field users are often priced differently. Establish the split and what each type can actually do.
Module and tier selection
Whether Select, Premier or Elite covers what you need, and which capabilities are separately priced add-ons.
Implementation and setup
One-time onboarding, configuration and training. Frequently the largest first-year surprise, especially with no trial to test first.
Data migration
Moving customers, history and pricebook from your current system — sometimes included, sometimes billed.
Contract length
Annual commitments are common. Establish the term and the renewal terms up front.
Payment processing
FieldEdge Payments and the flat-rate pricebook are named products in FieldEdge's lineup — ask whether either carries its own fee.
Reported User, Setup and Add-On Costs — Clearly Labelled
Two figures for FieldEdge cost circulate widely online. Neither is confirmed by FieldEdge itself, so both are labelled by evidence quality rather than repeated as fact.
A competitor’s blog post states FieldEdge’s “monthly subscription fee of $100 per office user plus $125 per technician” and an initial setup range of “$500–$2,000.” This is nearly four years old at the time of writing and was never confirmed by FieldEdge. Do not budget against it.
A practitioner thread puts FieldEdge at roughly half of ServiceTitan’s per-technician rate, with Housecall Pro cheaper again. That is one person’s recollection with no date and no receipt attached — useful for gauging that FieldEdge is not marketed as the cheapest option, not useful for a budget line.
We are not converting either figure into a “fieldedge pricing per month” estimate for you, because doing so would make this page exactly as unreliable as the ones it is warning you about. Use the worksheet below to get a written, comparable quote instead.
Plan and Feature Questions to Ask
FieldEdge’s own site lists named add-on products without prices. Confirm tier placement for each before you assume it is included.
Team-Size Cost Worksheet, Without Inventing a Total
Fill this in from the quote itself. If a vendor will not give you a figure for any row, that is information too.
| Line item | Your quote | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Office seats × rate | __________ | Often priced above field seats |
| Field seats × rate | __________ | Confirm what a field seat can and cannot do |
| Monthly subtotal | __________ | The number that gets quoted in conversation |
| One-time setup / implementation | __________ | The most common first-year surprise, with no trial to soften it |
| Data migration | __________ | Ask whether history comes across, not just customers |
| Training | __________ | Included hours vs billed |
| Add-on modules | __________ | Proposal Pro, MarketingEdge, Consumer Management Portal and similar |
| Payment processing rate | __________ | Ongoing, scales with revenue |
| Contract length | __________ | And the renewal price |
| FIRST-YEAR TOTAL | __________ | Monthly × 12 + all one-time costs |
Payment, Flat-Rate and Optional Product Costs
FieldEdge sells several named products alongside the core plans. Checked at fieldedge.com on 3 August 2026, none carry a public price.
FieldEdge Flat Rate
A pricebook product with office-and-field access, real-time synchronisation and QuickBooks integration. No standalone price published.
FieldEdge Payments
Named as a separate feature in FieldEdge's own navigation. Ask for the processing rate explicitly — it is not on the pricing page.
Proposal Pro
Listed as “Call for Pricing” on the Select and Premier tiers.
MarketingEdge
Two-way texting add-on, also “Call for Pricing” on Select and Premier.
Consumer Management Portal
Customer-facing portal, priced the same way — ask which tier includes it.
Warehouse Inventory Management
Named add-on for parts tracking. Confirm whether it is bundled at Elite.
Contract, Onboarding and Migration Questions
FieldEdge vs Opsler Pricing Model
| Dimension | FieldEdge | Opsler |
|---|---|---|
| Public pricing | No — quote-led | Yes — published |
| Entry cost | Requires a sales conversation | Free forever for 2 seats |
| Paid rate | Quote only | $25/seat/month |
| Seat minimum | Ask — commonly applies | None |
| Trial | None — guided onboarding instead | 14-day, no card |
| Setup fee | Ask — commonly applies | None |
| One-time option | Not offered | $499 for 5 lifetime seats |
| Best suited to | Established mechanical contractors on QuickBooks | 1–30 person service teams |
To be even-handed: FieldEdge has a long-standing QuickBooks relationship and mature service-agreement handling. Opsler exports to QuickBooks by CSV and does not sync directly — if a deep accounting connection is your priority, that difference matters more than the price model.
Two more FieldEdge pricing pages worth reading side by side: FieldPulse pricing (another quote-led vendor, but with a published seat-type structure) and Service Fusion pricing (unusual in this category for actually publishing plan rates).
Residual FAQs
Does FieldEdge publish official plan prices?
No. We checked fieldedge.com/pricing on 3 August 2026: it presents three plans — Select, Premier and Elite — with a detailed feature comparison, but no dollar figure against any tier. The page states pricing "can vary" because plans are customised with add-ons, and directs you to book a demo or call to get a number. So any specific dollar amount you find on a third-party blog or review site is Reported rather than Official, and much of it is recycled between sites without a check date. Treat it as unverified until FieldEdge quotes it to you in writing.
Why do vendors use quote-led pricing?
Because the deal is shaped by several variables at once — office versus field seat counts, which modules you take, implementation scope, data migration effort and contract length. That is a legitimate model, and common at the upper end of this market. The practical consequence for you is that you cannot compare cost across vendors without entering multiple sales processes, so budget the time.
Is FieldEdge worth it for a small contractor?
Often not. It is aimed at established mechanical contractors, particularly those centred on QuickBooks, rather than at new or very small businesses. If you have one or two technicians, the implementation weight, the lack of a trial and the quote-led process are likely disproportionate to your needs. If you are an established HVAC or plumbing company already committed to QuickBooks, it belongs on your shortlist regardless.
