Tradify pricing in Australia: plans and total cost
Tradify pricing in Australia is A$48, A$52 or A$62 per user per month, excluding GST, depending on whether you take Lite, Pro or Plus. That is the short answer, checked on Tradify’s own Australian pricing page on 4 August 2026. The longer answer — the one that decides your actual Tradify cost — is that per-user pricing behaves very differently at one person than at ten, and there are three charges that sit outside the plan price entirely.
This page shows the current Tradify plans, works the total through at 1, 3, 5 and 10 users, covers the add-ons and the Tradify free trial, and explains how per-user pricing compares to the two other models you will meet while shopping. Opsler publishes this page and is one of those comparisons — that is disclosed, and the Tradify figures below are Tradify’s own.
Current Tradify AU pricing at a glance
Checked on Tradify’s own Australian pricing page, 4 August 2026. Every price is per user, per month, and shown by Tradify as excluding GST.
| Tradify plan | Price (per user/month, ex GST) | Positioning |
|---|---|---|
| Lite | A$48 | Entry tier — the quoting, scheduling and invoicing core |
| Pro | A$52 | The tier most growing teams land on |
| Plus | A$62 | The fullest published tier |
| Custom | Contact Tradify | Arranged by phone on 1800 955 260 |
Checked date: 4 August 2026. Software pricing pages change without notice, and a promotional or annual rate is not the list price. Treat everything below as a dated snapshot and confirm on Tradify’s own site before you commit.
Lite, Pro, Plus and Custom plan differences
The interesting thing about Tradify’s tiers is how close together they are. A$48 to A$62 is a spread of A$14 per user per month — about 29% between the cheapest and the dearest published plan. On most software the entry tier is half the price of the top one, which changes how you should choose.
Tradify Lite — A$48
The entry point, covering the core Tradify workflow: quotes built from customisable templates, price lists and kits; real-time scheduling and dispatch; job time tracking; invoicing with automated reminders. For a sole tradie, this is frequently all the product that gets used.
Tradify Pro — A$52
Four dollars a month more per user than Lite. Across five users that is A$20 a month, or A$240 a year — small enough that most teams take Pro rather than spend a fortnight working out whether they need it. Check the current feature comparison on Tradify’s own pricing page, because tier contents move more often than tier prices.
Tradify Plus — A$62
A$10 above Pro. At ten users that is A$100 a month, or A$1,200 a year, which is the point where the gap is genuinely worth a decision rather than a shrug. Work out which single feature is pulling you up a tier and price that feature honestly.
Custom — contact-based
Not published. Tradify lists a phone number, 1800 955 260, rather than a price. Anything you are told on that call should arrive in writing before you budget from it — including whether the quoted figure includes or excludes GST and what happens to it at renewal.
Per-user pricing: team cost examples
Per-user pricing is easy to underestimate because the headline number is small. Here is the monthly Tradify cost at four common team sizes, excluding GST.
| Team size | Lite (A$48) | Pro (A$52) | Plus (A$62) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 user | A$48/month | A$52/month | A$62/month |
| 3 users | A$144/month | A$156/month | A$186/month |
| 5 users | A$240/month | A$260/month | A$310/month |
| 10 users | A$480/month | A$520/month | A$620/month |
Annualised, ten users on Plus is A$7,440 a year excluding GST. That is a real line item, and it is the number to take into a comparison — not A$62.
One question worth asking yourself before you multiply: does everyone who touches a job need a paid login? Some businesses put every apprentice and subcontractor on the system; others keep field access to the people who actually update records. That single policy choice moves the bill more than the difference between any two Tradify tiers.
What the number looks like as a cost per job
Per-user pricing is easiest to sanity-check by converting it into a cost per job, because that is the unit your margin is actually made in. A five-person team on Pro pays A$260 a month ex GST. Run 100 jobs and the software costs A$2.60 a job; run 250 and it costs A$1.04. On a A$400 average job value, that is 0.65% and 0.26% of revenue respectively — which is why busy businesses rarely notice the subscription and quiet ones feel it keenly.
It also shows where the pressure comes from. Adding a sixth person adds A$52 a month, or A$624 a year, regardless of whether that person increases your job count. If the sixth hire is an apprentice who mostly assists rather than runs their own jobs, the per-user model charges you the same as it would for a fully productive technician — the single strongest argument for looking at ServiceM8’s unlimited-user tiers before you grow.
Monthly billing, annual pricing and contract terms
The prices above are the published monthly, per-user, ex-GST figures. Three things to confirm directly with Tradify before you sign, because they are the terms that most often differ from what a comparison page can see.
- Whether an annual rate exists, and what it costs. Any annual discount is a separate offer from the list price. If you are quoted one, get the renewal rate in writing too — the second year is where annual deals usually stop being deals.
- How mid-month user changes are billed. On per-user pricing, this is the term that decides your real annual cost if you run seasonal staff. Ask whether adding a user is pro-rated and whether removing one takes effect immediately or at the next cycle.
- Whether the price is GST-inclusive at checkout. Tradify shows Ex GST beside each plan. Confirm what the invoice actually looks like so your bookkeeping matches your forecast.
For contrast, Opsler bills US$25 per seat per month with no seat minimum and no annual commitment. That is a simpler structure, but it is billed in US dollars and therefore carries an exchange-rate variable that Tradify’s AUD pricing does not — a genuine trade-off in Tradify’s favour for an Australian buyer who wants a predictable AUD line item.
Add-ons: website and SMS charges
Two published add-ons sit outside the per-user price, both confirmed on Tradify’s Australian pricing page on 4 August 2026.
Instant Website — A$19/month
A hosted website tied to your subscription. At A$228 a year it is cheaper than commissioning one, and more expensive than the several field-service products that bundle a basic site at no extra charge. Worth pricing against what you already have rather than in isolation.
SMS — A$0.20 per message
Charged per message, covering both SMS quotes and invoices, and SMS appointment, quote and payment reminders. The arithmetic is simple and easy to underestimate: a business sending 200 texts a month adds A$40 a month, or A$480 a year — roughly the cost of an extra Lite user. Estimate your real monthly volume before treating SMS as a rounding error.
A note on how Opsler compares here
Opsler does not currently send SMS at all — it is a planned bring-your-own-provider integration and it is not live. If SMS reminders are load-bearing in your business, that is a straightforward reason to prefer Tradify, and we would rather say so than let you find out in week two.
Free trial, training and support
The Tradify free trial runs for 14 days with all features included and no credit card required, confirmed on Tradify’s own Australian pages on 4 August 2026. Fourteen days is enough to reach a real decision if you use it deliberately.
The mistake most businesses make is spending the trial in the settings screens. Load twenty real customers, quote five real jobs, send one to a customer, run a day in the field on a technician’s own phone and raise the invoice at the end. If you cannot complete that loop inside a fortnight with support available, you have learned something more useful than a feature checklist.
On support and training, ask what is included at your tier versus what is chargeable — onboarding assistance, data import help and one-to-one training are commonly quoted separately across this whole category, not just at Tradify. By way of comparison, Opsler’s trial is 14 days and also requires no card, and there is a free forever Budding plan underneath it, so the evaluation does not have to end on a deadline.
GST, AUD and invoice checks for Australian buyers
Three separate questions get muddled here, and they have different answers.
1. Is the subscription price GST-inclusive?
Tradify says Ex GST beside each plan price, so no. Five users on Pro is A$260 ex GST, A$286 including GST at 10%. Not every vendor states this — ServiceM8’s published Australian pages, for example, do not say either way, which is a genuine gap when you are comparing. Always compare like for like.
2. What currency is the subscription billed in?
Tradify publishes AUD for Australia, which means a stable line item in your own currency. Several products sold into Australia do not: Jobber’s own Australian pricing page states all prices are in USD, and Opsler bills in USD too — US$25 per seat per month, never converted. If exchange-rate movement in your software bill is a problem, that is a real point in Tradify’s favour.
3. Can the software produce a compliant tax invoice?
This is about the invoices you send your customers, not the one you receive. No field-service product makes your invoicing compliant — it renders what you configure. Check that your ABN appears where it should, that GST is presented the way your accountant expects, and verify the output against the Australian Taxation Office’s own tax invoice requirements rather than a marketing feature list. Neither Tradify nor Opsler files GST or validates ABNs on your behalf, and no vendor in this category should be assumed to.
Tradify versus other pricing models
Australian field-service software is sold three fundamentally different ways. Comparing headline numbers across them is meaningless; comparing your own month across them is not.
Per user — Tradify, Opsler, Formitize
The bill tracks headcount. Predictable, and it scales with the thing you control least: hiring. Tradify is A$48–62 per user ex GST; Opsler is US$25 per seat with no seat minimum. This model is cheapest when you run a lot of jobs with few people.
Per job volume — ServiceM8
The bill tracks job count and users are unlimited on every paid tier: A$29 for 50 jobs a month, A$79 for 150, A$149 for 500. Cheapest when you have more people than jobs. The catch is that unused job credits expire monthly rather than rolling over, so a quiet month is money spent.
Custom quote — Simpro, AroFlo, Ascora
No published number at all. You cannot budget from a website; you book a conversation. Reasonable for genuinely complex operations, and a poor use of a fortnight if you are a three-person team who just wants a diary and an invoice.
Worked example. A five-person plumbing business running 120 jobs a month pays A$260 ex GST on Tradify Pro, or A$79 on ServiceM8 Growing — until job volume passes 150 and the ServiceM8 bill steps to A$149. A two-person business running 400 jobs pays A$104 on Tradify Lite and A$149 on ServiceM8 Premium. Neither model is better; they are better at different shapes of business. Work out your shape before you compare prices.
Tradify pricing questions to verify before buying
Take this list to the vendor rather than to another comparison page. Every item is something a website cannot reliably answer for your business.
- Confirm the current per-user price for the tier you want, and whether it is quoted ex or including GST.
- Ask whether an annual rate exists, what it is, and what the renewal rate becomes.
- Ask how mid-cycle user additions and removals are billed.
- Price your realistic monthly SMS volume at A$0.20 a message and add it to the plan cost.
- Decide whether you need Instant Website at A$19 a month or already have a site.
- Identify the one feature pulling you above Lite, and confirm it is in the tier you are quoting.
- Confirm what onboarding, data import and training cost, if anything.
- Check what a cancellation looks like and how you export your data.
Three published tiers as at 4 August 2026, all per user per month and all labelled Ex GST on Tradify's own Australian pricing page: Lite at A$48, Pro at A$52 and Plus at A$62. A fourth Custom tier is arranged by phone on 1800 955 260 rather than published. Because pricing is per user, the number that matters is your headcount multiplied by the tier — five people on Pro is A$260 a month before GST, or A$3,120 a year. Add-ons sit outside that: Instant Website at A$19 a month, and SMS at A$0.20 per message for quotes, invoices and reminders.
Yes to both, and the second half catches people out. Tradify's Australian pricing page shows "Ex GST" beside each monthly price, so the figure you see is not the figure that leaves your account. A five-person team on Pro at A$260 ex GST is A$286 including GST at the standard 10% rate. Budget from the GST-inclusive number if your cash flow planning works that way, and claim the credit through your BAS as normal. Per-user pricing also means the bill moves the month you hire — there is no bundled seat allowance to absorb a new starter.
Three things sit outside the per-user price. Instant Website is A$19 a month and depends on an active subscription. SMS is charged per message at A$0.20 — that covers SMS quotes and invoices, and SMS appointment, quote and payment reminders — so a business sending 200 texts a month adds A$40. Third, the tier you need is a feature question rather than a volume question, because Tradify does not cap your job count the way job-credit products do. On trial terms: Tradify offers a 14-day free trial with all features included and no credit card required, which is long enough to run the two-week test described above.
