simPRO Pricing: What Determines Your Quote?

There is no simpro cost per user published anywhere on simPRO’s own site — simPRO uses custom pricing. Here is what moves the number, why the figures circulating on comparison sites are not official, and how to get quotes you can actually compare.

Published by Opsler, a simPRO competitor. Checked 3 August 2026. We do not publish dollar figures for other vendors that we cannot verify.

Quick Answer: simPRO Uses Custom Pricing

Quote onlyas of 3 August 2026

simPRO’s own pricing page is quote-led and publishes no plan rate, stating that pricing is tailored to your team size, your office-versus-field split, and the add-ons you need. Capterra’s simPRO listing confirms no free trial or free version is offered — every path to a number runs through a sales conversation.

The widely-repeated $249 figure is Reported, not Official. Nobody agrees on simpro pricing per user: a second reported figure, from a different review platform, prices one named plan at $200 New Zealand dollars per month — a different currency and a different plan name from the first. That disagreement is the useful signal: nobody outside a simPRO quote actually knows. Do not budget against any of it.

How to read the labels on this page

Official

Stated by the vendor on their own site.

Reported

From review platforms or user communities — indicative only.

Historical

Previously published; may no longer be current.

Quote only

No public price; the vendor quotes per customer.

External vendor details checked 3 August 2026. Pricing and packaging in this category change frequently — confirm current terms on the vendor’s own pricing page before you commit. Figures labelled Official were read directly from the vendor’s own pricing page on the date shown. Where a vendor is quote-led, this says so rather than repeating a number from a third-party blog.

What the Official Pricing Page Confirms

We attempted a direct check of simprogroup.com/pricing on 3 August 2026; the page blocks automated fetches, so this section combines simPRO’s own previously-recorded wording (checked 30 July 2026) with an independent, same-day search confirmation. Both agree on the following, and neither supplies a dollar figure:

Tailored to team size

simPRO's own phrasing: pricing is designed to fit your business and goals, at any size.

Monthly or annual billing

The official page offers a billing-cadence choice, without stating either rate.

Setup fee, scaled to complexity

An initial fee covers onboarding, training and data migration; the amount depends on how complex your setup is.

Contact-for-quote only

Every pricing path on the page ends at a 'contact us' or demo-request action, not a rate card.

simPRO also runs regional support desks — UK and Ireland, US and Canada, and Australia and New Zealand — which is a sign of an enterprise-oriented sales motion rather than a self-serve one.

Base Plan, Included Capabilities and Add-On Categories

simPRO is positioned for contractors running both service and project work. These are the areas to establish in a quote — ask which are in the base package and which are priced separately.

Service management

Scheduling, dispatch, work orders and recurring maintenance for the service side.

Project management

The reason many contractors look at simPRO — phased project work alongside service.

Inventory and procurement

Stronger than most service platforms; often a deciding factor for commercial contractors.

Estimating and quoting

Establish how it handles your quoting model and whether templates are included.

Accounting connection

Ask specifically whether it is a live integration or an export, and in which direction.

Mobile and field

Confirm what the field app does with no signal — ask for the specific action list.

Office and Field License Questions

License structure is usually the largest single driver of a quote in this category, and the detail most often missed when comparing vendors.

Are office and field licenses priced differently?
What can a field license do that an office license cannot, and vice versa?
Is there a minimum license count?
Can licenses be reassigned when someone leaves, or are they per-person?
What does adding a license mid-term cost?
Are there read-only or limited license types at a lower rate?
Do subcontractors need a license to receive work?
Does the office admin who only runs reports need a full license?

Implementation, Migration and Training Costs

This is the line item that surprises people. simPRO’s own materials confirm an initial setup fee covering onboarding, training and data migration, scaled to how complex your business is — it is a project with a timeline rather than a signup. Get the fee, the expected duration and what is included in writing before you compare the monthly figure against a lighter platform — otherwise you are comparing two different things.

Implementation

Configuration to your workflows, pricebook setup and go-live support. Ask for the fee and the timeline.

Data migration

Customers, history, pricebook and inventory. Ask specifically whether job history comes across or only customers.

Training

How many hours are included, who they cover, and what additional training costs once you are live.

Reported Historical Figures — Labelled and Dated

None of these come from simPRO itself. They are what third-party sites report, and they disagree with each other — which is exactly why none should be treated as the simpro cost you will actually pay.

ReportedVendor-comparison site, checked 30 Jul 2026

“For simPRO Corporate users, it’s $249 per month, per office user. On top of that, you’ll pay an extra $39 per month per field user.” This is the figure most widely repeated online. It names a specific plan (“Corporate”) simPRO’s own site does not publish, which is itself a reason for caution.

ReportedCapterra listing, checked 30 Jul 2026 — note the currency

A separate review-platform listing prices “SIMPRO Premium & Digital Forms” at $200 NZD per month, plus another $50 NZD for an add-on. That is New Zealand dollars, not US dollars, and a different named plan again from “Corporate.” Converting it to USD and presenting it as a like-for-like figure would create a false precision this page will not manufacture.

A $249/month USD figure for one named plan and a $200 NZD/month figure for a different named plan are not close enough — nor even in the same currency — to average into anything useful. Treat the spread itself as the answer: simPRO’s real price depends entirely on which product line, region and module set a given reviewer was quoted, and a fresh quote is the only reliable number.

Who simPRO’s Pricing Model May Fit

Quote-led suits you if

  • You run projects alongside service work
  • Inventory and procurement are genuinely complex
  • You have someone who can own an implementation
  • Your configuration is genuinely non-standard

Published pricing suits you if

  • You do repeat service visits, not projects
  • You want the cost before talking to a salesperson
  • Nobody on your team can run a rollout project
  • You need to be live this month, not this quarter

Being straight about it: if you run project work with phases, draws and retainage, simPRO does something Opsler simply does not. Price is not the deciding factor there — capability is.

Residual FAQs

Is the often-cited $249 simPRO price current and official?

No. simPRO's own pricing page is quote-led and publishes no plan rate, stating that pricing is tailored to your team size, office versus field split, and the add-ons you need. The $249-per-office-user figure circulating on comparison sites is Reported, not Official, and it does not even agree with a second reported figure: a review-platform listing prices one named plan at $200 NZD per month — a different currency and a different plan name again. That disagreement is itself the useful signal: nobody outside a simPRO quote actually knows. Use these numbers only to gauge that simPRO is not a bottom-of-market product, and get a written quote to budget against.

Why is simPRO priced by quote?

Because it spans service work and project work, and the shape of a deal varies enormously between a residential service company and a commercial contractor running projects. License counts split between office and field, module selection, implementation scope and data migration all move the number. That is a coherent reason for quote-led pricing, but it does mean you cannot compare cost without entering a sales process.

Is simPRO overkill for a small service business?

Often, yes. Its strength is handling projects alongside service, with strong inventory and procurement — which is genuinely valuable for a commercial contractor with a projects division. For a residential service shop of three to ten people doing repeat visits, that capability is weight you pay for and do not use. Size the tool to how you actually make money.
