## HONEST CAPABILITY POSITION — this page corrects a common assumption

There is NO live customer-facing "your next service is due" reminder in Opsler.
Verified against the live codebase (2026-08-04):
- Recurring job series auto-generate the next job on a FIXED calendar interval
  (not recalculated from actual completion date), up to 30 days ahead, silently
  — no notification fires when a recurring job is auto-created.
- A technician gets a push reminder 1 hour before a scheduled job (internal
  field-crew use, not a customer message).
- Office admins (not the tenant's own customers) get a push alert when a
  warranty is 30/14/7/3/1 days from expiring — real, live, Pro-gated, but
  staff-facing and warranty-specific.
- A generic "appointment reminder" sender exists in the codebase but is never
  actually invoked anywhere — it is dead code, not a live feature.

## Verified capability

Recurring job scheduling on a fixed interval you define, tied to a customer and
service address (Pro plan); real transactional customer emails on job
completion, reschedule and cancellation; staff-facing warranty-expiry push
alerts (Pro plan); technician push reminder before a scheduled job; new customer
requests (however received) convert to a job through the same booking-request
approval flow as any enquiry.

## NOT supported

- Any automated reminder telling a customer their service is due, before a job exists.
- SMS of any kind — planned bring-your-own-provider integration, not live.
- An office queue of due-but-unbooked customers awaiting review.
- Automatic conversion of a customer's reply to a reminder into a job (no reminder exists to reply to).
- Consent/suppression/duplicate-handling for a reminder campaign (nothing to suppress yet).
