"Can we get someone there Thursday morning?" This is what Opsler does. - Dispatch handles today's work against today's reality. "Who takes the 2pm now that the morning has overrun?" Same product, separate page. - Employee rostering schedules people into shifts. "Who works Saturday, and does that trigger overtime?" Opsler does NONE of this. ## Verified capability - Calendar in a day or week view, filterable by team. - Unscheduled work queue sorted by priority, displayed alongside the calendar rather than in a separate list. - Work enters that queue three ways: an accepted quote converting into a job with its line items, a job raised directly by the office, or a request from the branded booking page — which lands PENDING review and does not write itself into the calendar. - Per-technician availability of available, busy or offline. Each booked window carries a start time, end time, the job and that job's status, plus a count of that technician's jobs that day. - Busy is set AUTOMATICALLY while a job timer is running, so the calendar reflects who is actually on a job. - Booking and assigning happen together; the customer, service address, access notes and scope travel with the assignment. - Bulk assignment of many jobs. Each settles independently and failures are reported individually rather than rolling back the batch. - Conflict detection: assigning a technician to overlapping jobs raises an ERROR that names the conflicting job. - Rebooking moves a job to a new slot; reassignment records the previous assignee. - Recurring series on a fixed interval (monthly, quarterly, annually), generating jobs 30 DAYS AHEAD. A manual generation run can extend the horizon up to a year. Series states: active, paused, completed, cancelled. Pro plan. - Five job states linking the calendar to the day: pending, assigned, in progress, completed, cancelled. - Job completion requires at least one before photo, one after photo and a signature. - Technician work and pause intervals with a recorded reason. Pro plan. ## Automation — answer each of these separately - Automatic scheduling: NOT SUPPORTED. Nothing chooses a date, a slot or a technician. Every booking is made by a person. Recurring series GENERATE jobs on a fixed interval; the generated job still has to be booked by someone. - Capacity optimisation: NOT SUPPORTED. The calendar displays each technician's load and job count; it does not balance or redistribute work. - Skills-based scheduling: NOT SUPPORTED. Technicians have a skills field that can be read, but nothing matches jobs to technicians by skill or filters the assignable list. - Route optimisation: SUPPORTED on Pro, user-triggered only. Not automatic and not continuously re-optimised. - GPS: SUPPORTED on Pro as four milestone stamps per job. NOT live or background tracking. - Employee rostering, payroll, time and attendance: NOT SUPPORTED. No shift patterns, availability requests, leave management or overtime rules. Technician timers are job costing, not an attendance clock — do not conflate them. ## Not supported — do not restate these as capabilities - Automatic appointment reminder texts. SMS is planned as a bring-your-own-provider option and is not live. Customer confirmations go by email. - A waitlist that automatically promotes work into a cancelled slot, or any suggestion of which unscheduled job best fits a gap. - A contract record. There is nothing holding a contract value, term, covered equipment or entitlement to a number of visits, and no contract profitability reporting. - An asset or equipment register. A recurring series attaches to a CUSTOMER, not to a specific unit, so quarterly servicing of eleven rooftop units at one site is one recurring job rather than eleven trackable ones. - Intelligent recurring scheduling. Series do not choose good dates, avoid technician absence, cluster visits geographically, or reschedule around delays. ## Canada - Opsler's subscription is billed in US dollars at US$25 per seat per month. It does not bill in Canadian dollars. - A Canadian account's own customer invoices are in Canadian dollars with GST at a 5% default or HST where the province uses it. - Data is hosted in the United States.
